Earthly or heavenly rule?

^KJV John 18:36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

Part of the question will be: “Then when does it start?”

  Is there a distinction between the expressions “kingdom of heaven” and “kingdom of God.”  The simple fact is that Matthew, writing to a predominately Jewish audience, preferred the phrase “kingdom of heaven,” while Luke and Mark, who wrote to a predominately Gentile audience, preferred the phrase “kingdom of God.”

A second point of contention is the nature of the kingdom.

• Is the kingdom a spiritual kingdom in which nations are transformed by the preaching of the Word of God,
• or is the kingdom a literal, earthly kingdom where Christ rules as a dictator over the nations by physical force?

One major point of contention is:

• Whether we are presently living in the “millennium” (or kingdom) or whether the millennium is in the future, after the second coming.

What is the distinction of the “Kingdom purpose of God”  from the Mystery?

The Lord will gather His people from the farthest corners of the Earth and bring them home
